Ruled with an iron fist
Runeteria aims to be an SMP experience with RPG elements added on top. As of the time of writing, it's not yet much of an RPG. There’s only a single dungeon and a bit of custom loot—and that’s about it. They’ve also introduced an auto-attack pet system, which is essentially like Pokémon but without the fun of choosing attacks and abilities. This can feel a bit out of place, considering where they seem to be heading.
The community, for the most part, is good. I haven’t noticed much toxicity so far.
The devs and admins are a mixed bag. Some are "okay," while others clearly suffer from a case of megalomania. It’s either "agree or get lost"—or should I say, "get banned"? Much of this comes from second-hand reports, but there’s proof in the form of chat screenshots and other evidence.
People are also treated differently by the devs and admins. If you're social, positive, and act like "I clap my hands to everything you say," you’ll probably have a great time with all the perks that come with it.
If not, just remember that the devs/admins' fingers are pretty loose on the ban button.
Also: Do not ever express your sexual opinions on the server. People have been kicked out of guilds because the admins look at your socials for anything that could be considered transphobic—even things you posted years ago.
Have a great time!
RIP to all the unjust bans. We will remember.
